Following President Biden’s disastrous time in office, we must get our economy back on track. To jumpstart our economy, my colleagues and I have passed the Working Families Tax Cuts that permanently extend many key provisions of the 2017 Trump Tax Cuts, supporting Main Street job creators and protecting working families from the largest tax increase in American history. The bill also includes new policies to support hardworking Iowans, such as no tax on tips and no tax on overtime, which will save the average American over $1,300 per year in federal income taxes. I will continue to pursue policies that reduce onerous regulations and incentivize growth for American workers and Iowa’s economy.
