Following OPEC+ Cuts, Hinson Renews Call for All-Of-The-Above Energy Strategy

Washington, D.C. – Rep. Ashley Hinson (R-IA-02) released the following statement calling on the Biden Administration to grant the Iowa delegation's request to allow E15 to be sold this summer and embrace an all-of-the-above energy strategy after OPEC+ announced surprise cuts. 

"US consumers and farmers shouldn't be subject to the whims of foreign nations when it comes to energy prices and stability. First, the Biden Administration should immediately grant the Iowa delegation's request to sell E15 this summer to reduce the pain Americans will feel at the pump and permanently expand the use of biofuels. Next, the Senate and the White House should support H.R. 1 to ramp up domestic energy production. Energy dependence is a choice made by the Biden Administration -- a harmful choice. It is past time for an all-of-the-above energy strategy." - Congresswoman Ashley Hinson
