May 8, 2026

Washington, D.C. — Congresswoman Ashley Hinson (IA-02) announced that the following students from Iowa’s Second Congressional District have received appointments to U.S. Service Academies.

"It’s an honor to nominate these exceptional young Iowans to our U.S. Service Academies, and I’m proud of those who have received an appointment to attend. Receiving an appointment reflects the hard work and character of these Iowans, and I commend their decision to serve something bigger than themselves. I am so grateful to each of these soon-to-be cadets, and their families, for choosing a life of service to our country.” — Congresswoman Ashley Hinson
