Hinson Applauds House Passage of Interior Appropriations Bill

November 3, 2023

Washington, DC - Congresswoman Ashley Hinson (R-IA-02) released the following statement on House passage of the FY24 Interior and Environment appropriations bill.

"The House is continuing our work to pass single-subject spending bills to fund the government in a fiscally conservative, transparent manner. I was proud to help craft the Interior and Environment Appropriations bill that reduces Biden's EPA by 39% and prohibits funding to enforce Biden's WOTUS rule, while also pushing the EPA to finalize Governor Reynolds' request for E15 to be sold year-round in Iowa. I also secured direct investments in clean drinking water infrastructure for Iowans and ensured continued access to crop protection tools for our farmers. I will continue working to pass conservative legislation that reins in the Biden Administration's bureaucratic overreach and cuts wasteful spending while delivering on Iowa's priorities."  - Congresswoman Ashley Hinson
