Hinson Co-Sponsored Bill to Provide Resources to Victims of Violent Crimes in Iowa Passes House

Washington, D.C. - Congresswoman Ashley Hinson (R-IA) released the following statement applauding House passage of the the VOCA Fix to Sustain the Crime Victims Fund Act of 2021. 

"I am proud to support legislation that will keep the crime victims fund afloat. The Crime Victims Fund provides essential services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, and other horrific crimes. Unfortunately, the Crime Victims Fund in Iowa is projected to hit a decade low by the end of this year. This bill will ensure that those who have suffered from unthinkable crimes have the resources they need to recover physically and emotionally." -Congresswoman Ashley Hinson
