Hinson Expands Effort to Block CCP from Buying American Land

Washington, DC - Congresswoman Hinson (IA-02) co-sponsored the No American Land for Communist China Act. The legislation, led by Representative Dan Newhouse (WA-04) will prohibit members of the CCP or any CCP-backed entity from purchasing any American land near federal U.S. land. This protects our military installations, national labs, and land with critical resources from being purchased by our greatest adversary.

Background:
The No American Land for Communist China Act prohibits any agent of the People's Republic of China or any business with ties to the CCP from purchasing land adjacent to U.S. federal land. Federal land includes any land owned by the Department of Agriculture, the Department of Defense, and the Department of the Interior.
