Hinson: Governor Abbott has Authority to Secure the Border

Washington, D.C. - Congresswoman Ashley Hinson (IA-02) released the following statement urging Governor Abbott (R-TX) to continue efforts in Texas to secure the border. 

"The Biden Administration has not only failed to enforce current immigration law, they are systematically incentivizing illegal immigration in every way possible, including by undermining border security efforts initiated by Governor Abbott in Texas. The crisis at our Southern Border is far beyond a breaking point, it is a full-scale invasion invited by the Biden Administration's open border policies. Governor Abbott has the authority to protect Texans, and Americans, from the ever-worsening national security crisis at our Southern Border, and he should continue working to do so."  - Congresswoman Ashley Hinson
