Hinson Highlights CCP Human Rights Abuses, Targeting of Journalists

Washington, D.C. - Today, Congresswoman Ashley Hinson (IA-02) participated in the House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) hearing, "The Chinese Communist Party’s Ongoing Uyghur Genocide." 

During the hearing, Hinson shared the stories of Radio Free Asia journalists who were directly targeted by the CCP and framed as terrorists simply for reporting the truth on the Uyghur genocide in Xinjiang. The CCP kept detailed and often falsified information about the journalists and their families, in some cases, detained their family members. Watch the video here.
