Hinson: Iowa Biofuel Producers Stand Ready to Help Stabilize Domestic Fuel Supply

Washington, D.C. - Congresswoman Ashley Hinson (IA-01) released the following statement, calling on the Biden Administration to tap into higher blends of ethanol to help address fuel supply challenges.

"The current gas shortage is yet another reminder that turning our backs on the abundant clean energy solutions from our nation’s heartland is costly and shortsighted. Right now, the fuel supply challenges could be met by unleashing the power of higher blends of ethanol to drive down prices and increase energy access. The Biden Administration should turn to our Iowa biofuel producers, who stand ready to help stabilize our domestic fuel supply."  -Congresswoman Ashley Hinson
