Hinson Joins Effort to Address Veteran Benefits Backlog
Washington, D.C. - Today, Congresswoman Ashley Hinson (IA-01) joined her colleagues in sending a letter to the Biden Administration asking them to reopen the National Personnel Records Center (NPRC) and to allow for full in-person staffing to ensure veterans in Iowa and across the country are not facing delays in receiving benefits. The NPRC is currently only allowed to operate at 25 percent of normal capacity, leading to lengthy delays for veterans who need records to receive federal benefits and services. ### |
