Hinson Joins Feenstra Effort to Provide Derecho Relief to Farmers

Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Ashley Hinson (IA-01) is co-sponsoring H.R. 3821, legislation led by Congressman Randy Feenstra (IA-04) that would help farmers access additional derecho relief through the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). 

"Iowa producers suffered serious losses during last year's derecho and this legislation would help them access additional relief they need to recover. Our farmers have been through the ringer over this past year and shouldn't be overlooked as they continue working to feed and fuel the world," said Congresswoman Ashley Hinson. "I want to thank Congressman Feenstra for his leadership on this issue and for being a champion for our farmers, and I look forward to continued work with him on behalf of Iowa's agriculture industry."
