Hinson Nominates Iowa Students to U.S. Service Academies

Washington, D.C. — Congresswoman Ashley Hinson (IA-02) announced her nomination of the following students from Iowa's Second Congressional District to U.S. Service Academies.

United States Merchant Marine Academy

United States Military Academy

  • Jackson Lampe – Dubuque, IA
  • Mackenzie McClelland – Grinnell, IA
  • Nakia Ollivierre – Wellsburg, IA
  • Avery Schnack – Decorah, IA
  • Lydia Weininger – Palo, IA

United States Naval Academy

  • Jackson Goslin – Hiawatha, IA
  • Ellie Hance – Palo, IA
  • Jackson Lampe – Dubuque, IA
  • Allie Sackett – Cedar Rapids, IA
  • Daniel Spooner – Mason City, IA
  • Dane Thomas – Cedar Rapids, IA

Each year, students must receive a nomination to apply to the U.S. Air Force Academy, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, U.S. Military Academy, or U.S. Naval Academy. Congresswoman Hinson can nominate students from Iowa's Second Congressional District to the service academies.
