Hinson Participates in Bipartisan COVID-19 Briefing

Washington, D.C. - Congresswoman Ashley Hinson (IA-01) participated in a bipartisan briefing for Members of Congress with leaders from the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to discuss COVID-19 and new information on the variants. 

"I appreciated receiving an update from health leaders as we continue to fight the COVID-19 pandemic together. They said that while the new variants are extremely contagious, the vaccines are effective against them. It remains my top priority to get more doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to Iowans."
