Hinson: Replace Venezuelan Oil with Iowa Biofuels

Washington, D.C. - Congresswoman Hinson (IA-01) released the following statement, calling on the Biden Administration to expand the use of biofuels and other domestic energy options rather than boosting production in Venezuela. 

“We don't need to import dirty oil from dictatorships when we have an abundance of homegrown, clean energy options. Iowa biofuels producers stand ready to meet our energy demands, yet President Biden continues to sideline all domestic production. Instead of propping up the Maduro regime, President Biden should adopt an all-of-the-above energy strategy that maximizes U.S. energy production and expands the use of Iowa biofuels.” - Congresswoman Ashley Hinson
