Hinson Statement on Court Ruling on Title 42

Washington, D.C. - Congresswoman Ashley Hinson (IA-01) released the following statement on a federal judge ruling that the Biden Administration cannot lift Title 42 in May. Hinson joined an amicus brief in support of the lawsuit filed by Louisiana, Arizona, and Missouri to keep Title 42 in place. 

"This ruling is a victory for border security and for the safety of Americans. While the Biden Administration has actively ignored the pleas of border patrol agents, border communities, and bipartisan Members of Congress to keep Title 42 in place, they should take this opportunity to reverse course on their failed policies, actually send the President to the border to meet with those impacted by the crisis, and finally finish the wall." -Congresswoman Ashley Hinson
