Hinson Statement on EPA WOTUS Rule

Washington, D.C. - Congresswoman Ashley Hinson (R-IA-02) released the below statement on the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) final Waters of the United States (WOTUS) rule. 

“When the Biden Administration attempted to hand down a WOTUS rule that subjected 97% of Iowa land to federal regulation, the Supreme Court rightly struck it down. Not only did Biden's rogue EPA finalize their revised WOTUS rule without accepting public comments, the final rule does not comply with the Supreme Court ruling to curtail this heavy-handed federal overreach. I will continue fighting the Biden Administration's efforts to control our backyards and farms."  - Congresswoman Ashley Hinson
