Hinson Statement on GREET Model

Washington, D.C. - Congresswoman Ashley Hinson (IA-02) released the following statement on the Department of Treasury’s new guidance on the GREET model for sustainable aviation fuel. 

“I’m encouraged by the Department of Treasury’s guidance, which will utilize an updated version of the GREET model to recognize farmers’ good environmental stewardship and allow Iowa to play a leading role in the growth of the market for sustainable aviation fuel. This is an important step in the right direction, and I will continue to be a leading voice to expand the use of Iowa biofuels.” - Congresswoman Ashley Hinson
