Washington, D.C. – Today, the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies (LHHS) released the Fiscal Year 2022 Appropriations bill for the subcommittee. The LHHS Subcommittee bill included Congresswoman Hinson's Community Project Funding (CPF) requests for Iowa's First Congressional District. The two CPF requests she submitted for this subcommittee were written into the bill.
"I am pleased that these funding requests were included in the LHHS Subcommittee funding bill released today." said Congresswoman Ashley Hinson. "I will continue working to bring taxpayer dollars home to be meaningfully reinvested in our district and stand against any misuse of taxpayer funds."
Hinson's CPF requests included in the LHHS bill:
BLACK HAWK COUNTY
Project Name: Leader in Me Project
Amount: $50,000
MARSHALL COUNTY
Project Name: Marshalltown Medical Clinic Construction Project
Amount: $200,000
More details on these requests can be found here. This is the tenth of twelve subcommittee funding bills to have been released. The LHHS Appropriations bill still needs to be considered by the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate before being signed into law.
