Hinson Statement on National Natural Gas Supply

Washington, D.C. - Congresswoman Ashley Hinson (IA-01) released the following statement on the national natural gas supply and the impact on Iowans. 

"This week’s cold temperatures across the country, particularly in the South, put unsustainable stress on our natural gas supply. I’ve heard directly from constituents, local governing boards, and suppliers about this issue. Times are already tough and paying more in utility bills will stretch Iowa families thin. This is the last thing Iowans need right now. My team and I are monitoring this situation closely and have been in touch with the Governor’s team tonight on how we can help ease this burden on Iowans—I know Governor Reynolds is just as focused on providing relief here as I am."
