Hinson Statement on Remain in Mexico Supreme Court Decision

Washington, D.C. - Congresswoman Ashley Hinson (IA-01) released the following statement on the Supreme Court decision allowing President Biden to end the Remain in Mexico policy at the Southern Border. 

"While I respect the Supreme Court's decision, I have serious concerns about the Biden Administration's open border policies that continue to incentivize illegal immigration and threaten everyone's safety. Just this week, over 50 migrants were found dead in a tractor trailer because of this Administration's inhumane and dangerous policies. Remain in Mexico worked – I heard that from Border Patrol agents firsthand. I hope President Biden will stop pursuing policies that weaken immigration enforcement and start working to secure our border." - Congresswoman Ashley Hinson
