Hinson Statement on Rising Inflation

Washington, D.C. - Congresswoman Ashley Hinson (IA-01) released the following statement on inflation continuing at a 40-year high and driving up prices.

“The Biden Administration's agenda–the combination of reckless overspending, overregulation, and sidelining American energy–is fueling inflation and price increases. 

"The rising cost of everything, especially gas prices, is making it tough for working families to afford daily necessities and pay the bills. 

"We need to ramp up domestic energy production, stop overspending, and fix our supply chain issues to ease this burden on working families. Instead, President Biden and Speaker Pelosi are still calling for their multi-trillion Build Back Better plan–Americans can't afford this out-of-touch agenda."
