Hinson Votes to Overturn Biden's Changes to Title IX

Washington, DC - Congresswoman Hinson (IA-02) voted to overturn President Biden's recent changes to Title IX that redefine sex as gender identity and threaten long-standing protections against sex-based discrimination in education programs and activities receiving federal financial assistance. Hinson released the following statement on the vote. 

“The Biden Administration took an axe to Title IX - a landmark policy to protect women - to appease their radical base who believe men can get pregnant. Let me be clear: biological men should not compete in girls' sports or be allowed in girls' locker rooms. I will always stand up for women and girls and call out the Biden Administration's radical nonsense." - Congresswoman Ashley Hinson
