Washington, D.C. - Congresswoman Ashley Hinson (IA-02) released the following statement after being sworn in to continue representing Iowa's Second District in the 119th Congress.

"This afternoon, I was officially sworn in to serve Iowans for the 119th Congress with my family by my side.

"I ran for Congress because I’m a mom – Max and Jax are my entire world. I’m a mom fighting for other moms who want to create the best possible future for their children. I’m fighting for the working Iowa families who have spent the past four years struggling under Joe Biden, for the veterans who have served our country, for the small business owners trying to keep their doors open & for the farmers who work so hard to feed & fuel the world.
