Hinson recently introduced the Reopen Schools Act, legislation that would help students get back into the classroom safely by requiring schools to offer at least partial in-person learning in order to receive these federal pandemic relief funds.

Hinson also introduced the Students over Subways amendment during debate on the Democrats' $1.9 trillion spending bill, which would redirect $140 million slated for Speaker Pelosi's pet subway project in California to badly needed mental health resources for kids.
