Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Ashley Hinson (IA-01) spoke at the Cedar Falls AMVETS Memorial Day event to honor those who have given their lives for our country. Hinson thanked the veterans in attendance, as well as their families, for their service and sacrifice. 

America is only the land of the free because of the brave. As we head into Memorial Day Weekend and make plans to spend time with family and friends—it is important to remember why we celebrate this day. Memorial Day is an opportunity for us to pay tribute to those who gave their lives to protect our freedoms.

Washington, D.C. - Tonight, Congresswoman Hinson offered a proposal that would help restock formula immediately, require the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to provide American families with a clear plan to restock formula and prevent future shortages, and require an accounting of excess stocks of formula at federal agencies that could go to American households.
