Too often in Washington, the potential for important, bipartisan policy is torpedoed by partisan politics. The need to make meaningful investments in our nation’s real infrastructure—roads and bridges, locks and dams, and broadband—was sacrificed to advance a partisan, socialist spending spree.

Washington, D.C. - Congresswoman Ashley Hinson (IA-01) released the following statement on the Biden Administration's vaccine mandate rule. 

"Receiving the COVID-19 vaccine should be a personal choice, not a government mandate. I am fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and will continue encouraging anyone and everyone to get vaccinated too. 

Washington, D.C. - Congresswoman Ashley Hinson (R-IA) helped introduce the BE GONE (Better Enforcement of Grievous Offenses by un-Naturalized Emigrants) Act. Led by Representative Elise Stefanik (R-NY), this legislation would block and deport sexual predators attempting to get into the United States. Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA) recently introduced companion legislation in the U.S. Senate.
