Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Ashley Hinson (IA-01) recently joined a bipartisan group of lawmakers to introduce the FAIR Leave Act. Currently, a loophole in federal law limits the amount of family leave some married people can take if they work for the same employer. The bill amends federal family leave policy to allow married couples working for the same employer to take the same amount of leave as couples working for different employers.

Washington, D.C. – After continued advocacy and engagement from Representative Ashley Hinson (IA-01), the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced that Lock & Dam No.10 in Guttenberg, Iowa, will receive approximately $2.9 million in federal funding for essential infrastructure upgrades.
