Congresswoman Ashley Hinson (R-IA-02) released the following statement following the House passage of three single-subject funding bills for Fiscal Year 2025 (FY25): the Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act, the Department of State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs Appropriations Act, and the Department of Defense Appropriations Act. To date, the House has passed four of the twelve single-subject appropriations bills for FY25.

Congresswoman Hinson (IA-02) co-sponsored the No American Land for Communist China Act. The legislation, led by Representative Dan Newhouse (WA-04) will prohibit members of the CCP or any CCP-backed entity from purchasing any American land near federal U.S. land. This protects our military installations, national labs, and land with critical resources from being purchased by our greatest adversary.
