Washington, D.C. - Congresswoman Ashley Hinson (IA-01) helped introduce the bipartisan Flood Risk Transparency for Homebuyers Act as an original co-sponsor. This legislation requires the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to tell homebuyers if they are purchasing HUD properties located in a flood zone.
